What is difference between file upload and hash only upload?

TimeStampMyWork allows you to copyright your work by uploading the files or just the hash (signature of your document) of those files. A file work (file upload) takes credit from the "File Credit" and hash work will take credit from the "Hash Credit".

Hash is a unique signature for the document(your work). The hash will be written into the blockchain which can be later used for verifying it.

An individual account has limitation on upload size (maximum size is 50MB per work). An organization can upload up to 500MB. An individual account can be started by paying US $ 10, while an organisation account can be started by paying US $ 500. If you select "Law Firm" or "Others" in the organization type, you can also register works under your clients' name.

Yes, you can use all of the above. However, in software and jewellery designs, you should consider using both copyright and patent. Patent in jewellery is used to protect specific design and mechanism. Software patent protects specific method, while copyright only protects source code in specific language.

The credit is calculated based on the size of the document. For example, 1 credit can be used for uploading documents up to 50MB. If you want to upload 100MB document, you will need 2 credits.

The supported formats are .zip or .7z file formats. You compress your documents using ZIP or 7Z file and upload the work.

In copyright, it's important to that you published the work first. TimeStampMyWork provides the platform to register your work, we issue you a certificate to show your work was published at specific date/time, this is also verifiable from a public blockchain. Even countries like China are recognizing the timestamping on blockchain. However, you will need a local lawyer to help you to handle infringements, send notices etc
